Ranting on...

Darn...stomach churning, eyes wide open, brains ticking timelessly telling me to sleep but i ignored it silently... Gosh! Am I addicted to the world of www?

Just got home from Sue's house. Today passed so terribly fast! In the morning, I went back to the office to get some last minute things done, working on my emails with the sun streaming in...warm as I felt, I was just too lazy to turn on the aircond.

I thought I would be done in 15minutes but hardworking as I pretended to be, I was in the office for a good 2 hours! At this point of time, I really do wish I should have taken the offer of getting myself a blackberry!

Got home later on, had a quick lunch and off I went back to PJ for a good cousinish reunion. After treating my Aussie cousins for some nice scrumptious korean barbeque dinner at Hartamas, drowning ourselves with few glasses of soju (and later on whisky), I was done for the night. Not drunk of course (Cindy never gets drunk...not when she's driving that is haha =)

Shucks....i really should be sleeping now. Its already 0113hours. I'll be flying off to Bangkok again on Monday... excited? Pumped? Nah.... not when you've travelled to the same place in the same month!

What I'm reallyyyy looking forward to...is February 4th, my QB convocation! Lawyer robes, lawyerish attire...I wonder how I'd look like! After that February 14th! Brunei! Miss good `ol Brunei, peaceful, quiet, serene.... no emails to read...no phone calls to attend to... sweet!

February....my favourite month for 2010 (for now lah).

My Dearest Sue

Finally! By now the wedding ceremonies for year of the Ox (2009) have come to an end (for those that I know that is). Congratulations darlingz and really sorry to those that I could not attend! Its sad that I could not attend theirs and them mine and its all because of the chinese-wedding-customs. As mentioned in one of my previous post, brides who got married cannot attend weddings held within the same month. Some believed 3 months. Some 4. Some even a year!

As for my dearest cousin Sue Ann, we were told by our family fengshui master to avoid each other's wedding if its within FOUR (4) months of one another!! Absolutely ridiculous but customs are customs... so I had to obey.

Sue Ann's wedding was held yesterday at KL Hilton and for the whole day since the eve of her wedding, I was feeling sad and unhappy as I could not be by her side on this important day. I remembered when we were younger we were like twins. We were always together every weekend playing barbie dolls, to berry fruits cooking at the backyard of our grandma's house, to showering together (we were realllllyy young ok! Nothing pops out yet then), to dancing some silly dance routines together with another baby cousin of ours Danielle (Sue being the eldest and most creative one was always the choreographer), to having boyfriends, to having break-ups, to meeting the ONE and then finally to tie the knot.

As we grew older, we see each other lesser...both having own career, own dating life, own and wider circle of friends. But deep down in our hearts we knew we were special to one another. She is special to me. She is special to all of us. Now and Forever.

This blog is specially dedicated to my dearest and wonderful cousin Sue Ann. May you and Ron live a happy and prosperous live together and may you both be blessed with a beautiful child/ children in the near near future!

Idol Seaon is Back!

You might be wondering....why there isn't any post since after I went to Singapore to watch the War of the Roses match together with my FIL... there's only one reason, and that's because my stupid Red Devils team Man Utd lost to Leeds!!! :( I was mourning in disappointment...

Well, now I'm back as the Idol fever is back! American Idol aired on our satelite channel since last Wednesday and its getting bigger and better especially since Simon Cowell's announced that this would be his last Idol season. Sad...he made the whole show worth watching, honestly speaking.

There's one special audition I would like to share with you, and to me, I personally think its all narrated & planned out by the producers of the show to spice things up. Watch this video and I'll tell you why:-

Why I think this audition was all planned out intentionally:-

a) Larry Platt (the contestant) is 62 years old. How on earth can he get past the door in the first place? Everyone knows all contestants must fill up a form detailing about themselves in order to participate and the rule says: contestant must be 16 - 28 years of age!

b) Simon to say, "What's the name of this song?" - Did he say that so that all audience would remember the title?

c) Simon to say, "I got a horrible feeling that this song would be a hit" - Simon being Simon. He himself is already an idol to all of us, hence, whatever he say, would surely have a huge impact in the media industry.

So I'd say, "Pants on the Ground" was made famous not by Gen. Larry Platt but by Simon Cowell!

Anyway, that's just my opinion... I do admit that this song does really stick to my head as it keeps ringing in my ears as I blogged it out here haha!
